Overview of Yao Ji Town

Yao Ji Town is located in the northwest of Suining County, and its total area is the first of all towns and parks in the county. Yao Ji is adjacent to Qing 'an Town in the east, tongshan district in the northwest, Wangji Town in the south and Pizhou City in the north. The provincial highway Pisui passes through the territory, and Zhang Yao Highway and Guzhang Highway pass through the town. The geographical features of Yao Ji Town are: the ancient Yellow River in the territory is 35 kilometers long, the mountains in the west are undulating, and the rocks are rugged. The unique ecological advantage of one mountain and one water is incomparable to Suining County and other parks. Yao Ji Town was merged from Yao Ji Township, Zhangwei Township and Liuji Orchard in 2000.

Yao Ji Town has a total population of 98,963, governs 34 administrative villages and a state-owned farm, with a total population of 359.

A village group. Yao Ji Town covers a total area of 252,000 mu, including 6,543,800 mu of cultivated land, 44,000 mu of mountainous land and 33,900 mu of total water surface. The 70-mile-old Yellow River passes through the territory, and Yao Ji Town has formed the production pattern of eastern plate, western mining industry, intermediate forest, mulberry, fruit and vegetable, with outstanding regional resource advantages.
