What are the wedding customs of Qinzhou people in Guangxi?

In the past, the wedding customs in this city were very complicated. There are generally nine kinds of ostentation and extravagance from "proposing marriage" to "returning to the door with three full moons":

1. The man proposed to the woman through the media;

2. The woman's parents ask someone to inquire about the man's family, and they think that the door is right or the door is right, so they will inform the man's daughter's birthday with a Geng post;

3. The man asked the fortune teller "He Xiao" to predict good or bad luck. If there is no "Chongke" in the eight characters of men and women, the man will send the media to talk about employment;

When the man chooses an auspicious day, he will put the agreed engagement money and the wedding card of the groom's birthday in a small box, and be escorted to the woman's house by the matchmaker together with the bride price and order. After the bride's family receives the betrothal money, gift money, orders and the male Geng's post, the female Geng's post is put in the original box, together with the clothes and happy fruit sent back, and the matchmaker takes it with him, commonly known as "engagement";

On the wedding day, both men and women held separate banquets to treat guests. The man sends a sedan chair (car) to the woman's house, and the bride opens her face (also called "opening her face", that is, unscrewing her hair from her face with thread) and says goodbye to her makeup;

6. The bridesmaid takes out the bride, worships the ancestors and parents in turn, and then the newcomers worship. After worship, the groom or bridesmaid leads the bride into the new house;

7. On the third day, the bride returned to her family, and her two sisters and brothers would come to meet her. The man will make Ciba or buy cookies for the bride to take back to her family and give to the elders in the clan. The woman's family will make or buy red pointed birthday bags for the man's family and give them to the people in the clan. The woman's family gave less gifts than the man's. Both men and women choose to go back and forth once every two days, commonly known as the "Three Dynasties".

8. After getting married for one month, the bride goes back to her family, and both men and women buy jiaozi and pork.

9. On the morning of the first year of marriage, the bride and groom will go back to their parents' home together, buy round gifts, wine and red envelopes for several elderly families at home, and also give red envelopes to their younger brothers, sisters and other children;

The wedding etiquette of poor families is similar, limited to conditions, simple ceremony and banquet.
