Is the five elements accurate?

Our ancient sages used gold, wood, water, fire and earth to summarize everything in the world. This is a great invention, not a discovery. Because it should exist in this way.

Speaking of the prediction of the Book of Changes, I'd like to focus on the principle of Yin-Yang and Five Elements. Through long-term observation of nature, the ancients in China highly summarized all things in the universe into five attributes, namely, gold, wood, water, fire and earth, which we are familiar with, referred to as "five elements" for short. It is also pointed out that there is a relationship between these five attributes, namely, golden water, aquatic wood, wood fire, fire earth and native gold. At the same time, gold also suppresses wood, wood suppresses soil, soil suppresses water, water suppresses fire and fire suppresses gold.

People who are not familiar with it will sound confused, but if you want to study Yijing prediction or Chinese medicine, you must learn this relationship by heart. However, how did this relationship come about? What does this mean? I will explain it in detail later, so please don't worry.

This relationship is actually like the biological chain in nature. Everything gives birth to everything, and everything has its vanquisher. No creature in nature can live independently from other creatures, and it often becomes the hunting target of other creatures while feeding on them. Plants provide food for herbivores and are eaten by carnivores for lunch, but even the king of beasts will be defeated by tiny organisms such as bacteria or viruses, and finally be decomposed, digested and absorbed by plants again. In this way, a cycle is formed, and there are no invincible creatures in this cycle. The reason why there is such a cycle is that nature can multiply indefinitely.

The relationship between the five elements is to explain this law of nature, and it is precisely because of this law that the prediction of the Book of Changes has a theoretical basis.
