The Meaning and Symbol of Bodhi

Bodhi symbolizes awakening wisdom and giving wisdom to the wearer.

Bodhi, the transliteration of Sanskrit Bodhi, means consciousness, wisdom, knowledge and road. In a broad sense, it means to cut off worldly troubles and achieve nirvana wisdom. Because Buddha Sakyamuni learned it in Bodhi Tree, Bodhi means awakening and achieving Buddha's fruit.
