No fortune-telling chanting _ no fortune-telling chanting

Why is it still unlucky for me to read the Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra every night?

One of the keys of Buddhism is that all laws are based on the mind.

Your luck is determined by your heart, which can be understood as a collection of superficial consciousness and subconscious mind.

To chant Buddhist scripture is to change one's mind, and what does not change one's mind is not to chant Buddhist scripture.

If you really recite the scriptures, you will naturally get the protection of the buddhas and the blessing of the dragon gods.

Your estimate is to recite scripture, but what you read in your mouth does not correspond to what you usually think, say and do, so the effect will be discounted, and the degree of discount is as great as the difference between body, mouth and heart and scripture.

Reading is "today+mind", which means that there is something in your heart now, and chanting is practical, but the parties are really knowledgeable now. What does it mean to have classics in your heart? There are classics in my heart, and naturally my ideas and thoughts correspond to classics. Even if what I do now is not perfect, I really want to do it. I work hard every day, and my body, mouth and mind are learning scriptures. This is the real chanting.

Reading classics is not like this. Just say it out loud, and even think it's a utilitarian exchange. Read it once, hoping to get as many merits as possible. This mentality is indeed beneficial, but it is "leakage", with less progress and more leakage.

What is chanting and what is reading, you really have to distinguish this yourself.

Chanting is really good. Obviously, reading classics is also good, but it takes a long time and is not obvious.
