Yang Wuliu's Personal Experience

"Yang Wuliu", whose real name is Yang Zhichun, was born in 1942 and died of illness in 2005. He was born in Yiyang, Hunan. From 1956 to 196 1, he studied in Changsha No.6 Middle School and Changsha Industrial School. He used to be a member of Chinese Quyi Association, vice chairman of Hunan Quyi Association and chairman of Changsha Quyi Association. He has been engaged in the creation and performance of Quyi for more than 30 years, and has published more than 0/00 pieces of Quyi works in provincial and municipal newspapers. Among them, the representative works are: phase protection, tickets, duck housekeeper and so on. In recent years, the creation and performance have become increasingly mature, especially in the use of Hunan dialect, which has created a precedent for Hunan-style cross talk and sketches and injected new vitality into Hunan Quyi. Crosstalk "Local accent is hard to change" and other works performed in cooperation with others were recorded into cassettes and distributed in 300,000 boxes. Divorce, a dialect prose, won the Silver Award in the 7th National Stars Award. The jingle Ticket was included in Selected Works of China Quyi. The dialect TV comedy series "Biography of Yang Wuliu", which was created and starred, was deeply loved by TV viewers and set the highest daytime ratings of national TV variety shows.

11On February 3rd, 2005, Yang Zhichun, a famous comic sketch performer and quyi writer, died of pancreatic cancer in Changsha at the age of 63.
