Where is Apozhai Scenic Area?

Apozhai Scenic Area is located in Lei Yin Temple Group of Naizhuang Village, Wawu Town, Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, and Dalongshan Mountain at the foot of Funiu Mountain.

The main peak of Apozhai Scenic Area is 878 meters above sea level. There are many cliffs and gullies in the territory, and there are many strange rocks, solitary peaks, pine waterfalls and fruit tree houses.

The scenic spot is located at the junction of Lushan County, Baofeng County and Ruzhou City, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. It is a boutique scenic spot integrating blessing, sightseeing, meditation, old-age health, ecological agriculture, farming experience, mountain leisure, field expansion and humanistic nostalgia.

Apozhai has a very long history and profound religious and cultural heritage. It is the Tathagata Dojo, the birthplace of the westward journey culture, the ancestor of the Great Wall and the Great Wall of Chu, and the place where Guanyin practices every need to pray. It has always been known as a famous Buddhist mountain and a blessed land in the Central Plains.

The must-see attraction is Leidayin Temple, which was built in the 12th year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty. After the change of dynasties, the incense is still very strong, and it is the "Western Mountain, the Holy Land for Blessing" in the hearts of believers.

There is also the Wulonggou Waterfall Group, which is located at the foot of Dalong Mountain, with a total length of 3,000 meters. It was named after the legend that Guanyin Bodhisattva lived with the five dragons of gold, wood, water, fire and earth.

Guanyin cave is also a must-see landscape. The hole is about 3 meters high, 2 meters wide and 300 meters deep. It is under the mirror of Apozhai and communicates with Huanglong Cave. According to legend, Guanyin Bodhisattva practiced in this cave, so it is called Guanyin Cave.
