The development of history

Lucheng originally belonged to Yongjia County. According to legend, in the first year of Taining in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 323), Yongjia County built white deer and royal flowers, hence the name. Lucheng, located on the south bank of Oujiang River, is known as "the famous town of Dongou" and has been the seat of counties, prefectures, districts and counties in past dynasties.
