Ji Yun, a politician, writer and official during the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, was famous in Beijing and at home and abroad when he was young, especially in writing couplets.

In a temple near Ji Xiaolan's residence, there was a master named Hongyi, who knew Ji Xiaolan's knowledge very early and was unparalleled. Ji Xiaolan was asked to write a couplet and carve it on a post.

Ji Xiaolan did not refuse, and wrote: The fragrance of sunset clouds swept away the hearts of ordinary people; When the furnace is cold and the fire is exhausted, be sure to tie the horse firmly.

The abbot was overjoyed and sent someone to install it and hang it in the monastery. Soon, Emperor Qianlong also visited here, saw Ji Yun's inscription, laughed and walked away, and the abbot suddenly realized and blushed.
