The theoretical basis of Meihua Yijing is Yijing. Some of the letters in Zhouyi are indeed divination, and the views of ordinary people are called fortune telling. However, unlike ordinary people's understanding, Zhouyi is not just divination! The Book of Changes thinks about the universe and life. The universe and life are the unity of heaven, earth and human beings, while ordinary people pay attention to individuals. Individuals live and die, blessed and sick.

Chinese people have misunderstandings about the Book of Changes. They simplified the Book of Changes into two words-fortune telling, and when it is associated with fortune telling, it is easy for people to think of one word-superstition. It is a misunderstanding to regard Zhouyi simply as fortune telling, and it is a lack of scientific attitude to regard prediction simply as superstition. Thousands of years ago, facing the world at that time, most of our ancestors were confused. What kind of world is the world? What is the world made of? Why is there a storm? Why are there mountains called tsunamis? How did people come from? Who decides a person's life? Why do people live longer than me? There are too many mysteries to be solved and too many questions to be answered. So, the ancestors began to think. Zhouyi is a result of this kind of thinking. Unfortunately, however, Zhouyi, as an important ideological achievement of China ancestors, has been regarded as a book of divination by most people for thousands of years and has become a classic of divination in China.
