Faced with political corruption and social unrest, Yan Junping left Chengdu and returned to Hengshan to live in seclusion. In order to solve the drinking water problem of local residents, he dug a well (Luo Yin, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote Junping Well in official script when he lived in Chongning, and local residents called it Han Tong Well). Life is always contented, life is happy, and death is happy. He died and was buried in Hengshan at the age of 95.

The original surname is Zhuang, the real name is Zhuang Zun, and the word is Junping. Later, the name of Emperor Liu Zhuang was taboo, so he changed his name to Yan Zun. According to historical records, he lived in seclusion in Jinyushan, Pengxi County, Sichuan Province, and sold hexagrams in Pixian County, Pengzhou, Qionglai, Guanghan and Mianzhu in Chengdu today. After 50, he retired, wrote and apprenticed in Pixian County.

I have lived in Pingle Mountain for more than 40 years, and I have set up a library in Pingle Mountain in Pixian County to teach Laozi. On this mountain, I wrote down the prophecy of Wang Mang's national subjugation and martial arts revival, and predicted two important historical events of Wang Mang's usurpation of power and martial arts revival more than 20 years in advance, and also trained a proud disciple-Yang Xiong according to Lao Zi's philosophy.
