Evolution of Dashahe Town

Originally belonging to Dashahe Commune, Dashahe Orchard was built 1970, Yuezhuang Township was changed 1985, Zhenjian was built 1986, and Dashahe Town was renamed 1993. 1996, with an area of 45 square kilometers and a population of10.8 million, governs 9 administrative villages, namely Yuezhuang, Yangji, Zhangtun, Yangwulou, Zhangzhuang, Food City, Liulou, Jiahe and Niewa. In April 2000, Lizhai Town was abolished, and its original jurisdiction, state-owned Dashahe Forest Farm and state-owned Dashahe Orchard were merged into Dashahe Town. After the zoning adjustment, Dashahe Town has an area of 1.28 square kilometers and a population of 55,400. It has jurisdiction over 3 1 administrative village, 2 fruit forest farms and the town government in Yuezhuang village. At the end of 2008, it has a total area of 128 square kilometers and a population of 60,338, and governs food city, Liulou, Yuezhuang, Niewa, Zhangtun, Yangji, Lizhai, Ba 'er, Maolou, Baolou, Heilou, Cao Zhuang, Changzhuang, Yaozhuang, Daizhuang, Huang Zhuang, Zongji, Sunzhai and Maolou. The town government is stationed in Yuezhuang Village.

The former Lizhai Town is located in the south of Fengxian County, 24 kilometers away from the county seat. Phoenix Highway runs north-south, and the abandoned Yellow River and Dasha River are diverted from east to west. Lizhai Commune was established in 1958, and towns were established in 1983. 1996, with an area of 64 square kilometers and a population of 35,000, governs Lizhai, Chen Zhuang, Baer, Baolou, Heilou, Xinzhuang, Fan Zhuang, Cao Zhuang, Changzhuang, Shijie, Yaozhuang, Shuangmiao, Qian Ji, Daizhuang, Huang Zhuang, Broken Building, Bailiuyuan, Bao Zhuang and Maolou.
