This is an ordinary northern farm yard with red brick walls and loess floors. Several unknown plants in the flowerpot have sprouted, and two bamboos beside them add a touch of green to this courtyard in early spring.

The furnishings in the four bungalows are simple. There is a cast iron honeycomb coal stove in the center of the living room for heating, and there is an aluminum kettle next to it. Two old sofas with different colors and heights were placed near the north wall, and the hostess moved some benches and mazar-e-mazar. We sat here and started an interview with Zhao Jun.

Qi Zhaojun said that the calligraphy and painting was given to him by a friend, and his name was embedded in the inscription. "I know I like calligraphy. It is such a family, such an old man, who used 140 money orders to help 140 poor children complete their studies in eight years. And he just said, "Nothing, just did what he had to do."

Eight years ago, when I read from a magazine that six children in Chengde Mountain were about to drop out of school and needed help badly, Qi Zhaojun, who was not rich, originally planned to subsidize one of them with his meager salary. But after learning more about these children from school, he hesitated-every child is struggling to drop out of school, and every child needs help so much. So after consulting with his wife, he took out a month's salary at one time and sent it to six children who had never met in the distance. And this is just the beginning.

In the past eight years, Qi Zhaojun has never counted how many scholarships he has given, but more than 40 remittance receipts he left behind bear the hope of poor children in distant places.
