Does Shantou Chaonan District belong to the countryside?

Chaonan District of Shantou does not belong to the countryside. Baidu map shows that Chaonan District is a municipal district of Shantou City, Guangdong Province, located on the eastern coast of Guangdong Province. It is the south wing of Shantou's development strategy of "one island and two wings" and one of the four municipal districts under Shantou's jurisdiction. Therefore, Shantou Chaonan District does not belong to the countryside.
