Fang Shiyu fortune-telling scene
As for when the "southern boxing and northern leg" appeared in Wushu, some experts' research should begin in the middle and late Qing Dynasty. The northern leg is the pool leg (or bouncing leg), and the southern fist is the Hongquan. People who practice martial arts often regard Hong Xiguan as the founder of Hongquan, believing that Hongquan spread to Lu 'achai, Huangtai, Huang Qiying and Huang Feihong after Hong Xiguan, and really developed and became one of the most important martial arts schools in China. However, it is difficult to know Hong Xiguan's life story. As for him, and Hu, they are all lay disciples of South Shaolin in Fujian, and the so-called original story materials are not credible, only to hear them say that the Qing army burned down South Shaolin. It was not until the late Qing Dynasty that these people made a systematic and meticulous legendary interpretation of Gan Long Down the South written by an anonymous person, so that the story of Hong Xiguan and Fang Shiyu, which was originally circulated orally among the people, had a real literary blueprint for re-creation through drama and film, which spread more widely-reflect on how similar this process is to the story of thirty-six people, such as Song Jiang, who occupied Liangshan in the Song Dynasty, was circulated and processed by the people, and was written into a wonderful book by Shi Naian in the early Ming Dynasty
Many friends don't like the unconventional and unrecognizable adaptation of some literary works by Hong Kong and Taiwan films, but I don't know why some literary classics in China are not. "Jin Ping Mei" was born out of "The Water Margin", and the real story of the protagonist turned into a picture of various social situations, which can be described as a soft finger. Lu Xun's New Stories subverts and deconstructs several classic figures and allusions in pre-Qin literature, and its techniques are exactly the same as the "post-modernism" that we now admire; Guo Moruo's so-called new historical dramas (such as Qu Yuan and Cai Wenji) use ancient metaphors to describe the present and combine modern ideas to shape ancient characters. Even if this situation is a reasonable adaptation of romance, as some experts have said, in essence, I am afraid it is no different from the practice of Hong Kong and Taiwan films.
In addition, there is a unique way for Hong Kong and Taiwan film and television dramas to tamper with classic works and classic characters, that is, to skillfully graft the self-contained character stories in different works (even creatively transplant the main characters and plot bridges in classic works) and piece them together in one work, thus producing unimaginable and wonderful effects. For example, Hong Xiguan of ATV and Fang Shiyu, a young hero in Taiwan Province, both focus on the love story between Yan Yongchun and Hong Xiguan, the founder of Wing Chun Boxing. But the reality is that Yan Yongchun's husband is Liang in history, and she and she are strangers at all. The stories circulated by the people are even more irrelevant. How can there be a theory of love? This is really a mistake. There are also two episodes of "Fang Shiyu" starring Jet Li, which transplant the anti-Qing organization Red Flower Society led by Chen Jialuo in Jin Yong's masterpiece "The Book of Sword and Hate" into the film. It turned out that Jin Yong's fictional Red Flower Club was inexplicably associated with the folklore Fang Shiyu, and Fang Shiyu not only became Chen Jialuo's adopted son, but also helped the Red Flower Club get rid of the infighting! The story is lively and interesting-and Jin Yong himself is especially good at creating martial arts novels. In the Book of Sword, two generations of Uighur "folk saints" became friends with the Red Flower Society. The legend of the condor heroes has something to do with the water margin. Guo Jing is actually a descendant of the Liangshan hero Guo Sheng. As for Jin Yong and film and television drama directors, whether they have super imagination or are smart enough to be lazy is a matter of opinion.
Perhaps in the martial arts world, Fang Shiyu is not as famous as Hong Xiguan (although there is a "Shaolin Fangmen" who admits that he is the founder of the mountain, that is just a rumor of younger generations, which is not true. Some people even research that there is no Fang Shiyu in history! ), but in the film and television industry, his fame is far better than that of his brother. Because Fang Shiyu's reckless, intelligent and strong young hero image seems to be more popular with the audience than Hong Xiguan's mature and steady personality endowed by traditional romance, a follow-up work with the theme of "beating Fang Shiyu" came out as early as the same year when the first martial arts film "Burning Red Lotus Temple" (1928) was filmed in China. In the 1950s and 1960s, dozens of episodes of Huang Feihong series were made, followed by movies about Fang Shiyu, with more than a dozen. In 1990s, after successfully interpreting the classic screen image of Huang Feihong, a martial arts master, Jet Li, a famous kung fu movie star, began to shoot Fang Shiyu as his company's pioneering work. Although Miao Cuihua, the happy mother of Fang Shiyu, played by actor Xiao Fangfang, stole a lot of limelight from Jet Li, the Jet Li version of Fang Shiyu is still wonderful, and it has quite successfully created a clever and naughty character with clear love and hate. The most impressive thing about this film is the action scene: Jet Li and Hu Huizhong compete high above the heads of the audience to show their natural and unrestrained posture, while Chiu Man-Cheuk and Jet Li fight nimbly in the low mezzanine of the guillotine; In addition, Li and Zhao attacked each other with long sticks and short sticks in the printing and dyeing workshop-this ingenious contrast of height and length is really dazzling and amazing! Therefore, it is well-deserved that Yuan Kui and Yuan De won the Best Wushu Instructor Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
According to relevant records, Hong Xiguan was born in Huaxian County, Guangdong Province (now Huadu District, Guangzhou). He is a Shaolin disciple and the founder of Hongquan.
As early as Sima Qian, it was known that "Yue people like to attack each other", but those who "attack" are also belligerent. Guangdong is the first hometown of China Wushu. There are countless famous Boxers in Guangdong, such as Cai Jiuyi, a native of Zhaoqing, who was stationed in Liaodong with Hong Chengchou troops as a military commander. 1642, after the defeat of Hong Chengchou, Cai Jiuyi angrily went to Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Henan Province to study Shaolin Wushu. After eight years' hard training and careful teaching by the master in charge, Cai Jiuyi returned to Zhaoqing on 1650, bringing back the book "The Secret History of Shaolin Boxing" given by the master, and secretly began to accept disciples and teach Shaolin Wushu in order to make a comeback.
Fang Shiyu's father loves martial arts, and he is a big silk business owner in Zhaoqing. He and Cai Jiuyi often study martial arts together, and their friendship is very deep. He studied martial arts since childhood, studied under Cai Jiuyi, Fang Meiyu and Liang, and studied Shaolin Wushu. Later it was called "Shaolin Ten Tigers". Under the influence of the teacher, Hong Xiguan, who is gifted and intelligent, not only studied hard and practiced his internal skills, but also won the favor of his master and spread it to Shaolin. In just a few years, Hong Xiguan not only understood the essence of Shaolin Kung Fu, but also developed a profound foundation. Because of the deep hatred for the Han people ruled by the Manchu Dynasty, in order to resist the Qing court and improve his disciples' martial arts, Cai Jiuyi led Hong Xiguan, Fang Shiyu and others to practice South Shaolin martial arts with the abbot of South Shaolin Temple in Quanzhou on 1668. Hong Xiguan, with a high degree of understanding, combined the martial arts of the South and the North Shaolin, practiced both internal and external skills, and used both fists and feet, so that he became a Shaolin Juexue, combining rigidity with softness, and it was natural. According to the recent discovery in Putian, Fujian Province, the Boxing Manual of South Shaolin Sect records that after receiving a tip-off in the 11th year of Kangxi (AD 1672), the imperial court sent heavy troops to encircle Quanzhou Shaolin Temple. Under the sword, Hong Xiguan, Fang Shiyu and others were outnumbered, and the monks scattered, and Shaolin Temple was destroyed. Hong Xiguan, Fang Shiyu and others, relying on their high-powered Shaolin martial arts, escaped the pursuit of Qing soldiers and eagles and sneaked back to Guangdong.
1673, under the pursuit of Qing soldiers, Hong Xiguan went into hiding and continued to practice Shaolin Kung Fu in the Big Buddha Temple. In March of the same year, Pingnan Wang Shangkexi wrote to the court and requested to abdicate; In August, Kangxi ordered Wu Sangui, the king of the day, and Geng Zhongjing, the king of Jingnan, to withdraw from San Francisco; In June 65438 +065438+10, Wu Sangui uprising broke out. This time, Wu Sangui secretly contacted Shang Zhixin to participate in the rebellion, and sent spies into Foshan to develop underground armed forces. The rain is coming, and the strange atmosphere in Guangzhou can be imagined. Hong Xiguan took advantage of the chaos to recruit people with lofty ideals and set up underground armed forces.
In order to realize Master Cai Jiuyi's last wish to help Ming Dynasty destroy the "Qing court", Hong Xiguan and others not only gathered in the Great Buddhist Temple, but also set up a stronghold outside the city in Xichan Temple (now guangzhou fu No.4 Middle School on Xihua Road), which was in the charge of Fang Shiyu brothers. The Fang family is the big boss of the silk business, and the Fang brothers only use the "western boys" (textile workers) who work in the western suburbs to attract talents. However, this entry is not allowed. Instead, it has repeatedly fought with the gangster-style "computer room boy" and exposed it. Finally, they were discovered by the secret service. During the arrest, many people were killed on the spot, and Fang Shiyu and others fled back to Zhaoqing.
At this point, Hong Xiguan, who was hunted by Qing soldiers everywhere, also sneaked back to Zhaoqing. Hong Xiguan and Fang Shiyu jointly discussed that the anti-Qing base should be located in Qingyun Temple in Dinghushan, Zhaoqing. They secretly accepted the martial arts of Shaolin disciples, recruited talents, and got together with the British to seek great things. Unexpectedly, betrayed by traitors, the Qing soldiers surrounded Qingyun Temple and planned to catch them all.
With his unique skills in Shaolin Wushu, Hong Xiguan attacked with his fists, deus ex. From then on, he traveled incognito in Shan Ye, absorbed the essence of hundreds of martial arts, and then mastered Shaolin martial arts, created his own Hongquan, traveled around and taught it secretly. Today, Hongquan has its own system, fierce and changeable boxing methods and powerful moves, which have a wide influence among martial arts lovers all over the country. Legend has it that Hong Xiguan lived to the age of 93 (in the early years of Daoguang) and stabbed a girl to death with a phoenix eye without any defense. In addition to fine boxing and boxing, he is good at Shaolin sticks.
Huang Feihong, whose real name is Huang Xixiang, whose word is Dayun, is from Luzhou Village, Xiqiao, Nanhai. Qing Daoguang was born in Foshan on July 9, 2004. He is over 7 feet long (65,438+0.83 meters). He is a master of Lingnan martial arts and a famous doctor who helps the world and saves people. His father was one of the "Ten Tigers of Guangdong" in the late Qing Dynasty (not the Ten Tigers of Guangdong, but Wang, Huang, Su Heihu, Zhou Tai, Tan, Li, Chen Tiezhi and Liang Kun). Hong Fei studied martial arts with his father at the age of five, and at the age of 65,438+02, he followed his father in the streets and lanes, one by one, making great efforts. Later, Lin Fucheng, the proud disciple of Tieqiaosan (one of the ten tigers in eastern Guangdong), taught him stunts such as Tiequan and Feizhong, and learned without a trace in that boring place in Song Hui, and his martial arts became more and more perfect. Later, Huang Feihong and his father opened a museum in Guangle Mountain and took him as an apprentice. Huang Qiying died, and Huang Feihong inherited his father's mantle and became a grandmaster. He was the youngest martial arts coach of Wulin South School at that time. Throughout his life, he was hired as the military offensive coach by the prefect Wu Quanmei and the leader of the Black Flag Army, Liu Yongfu. According to legend, his unique skills in his life include double flying pier, female knife, arhat robe, shadowless foot, iron fist, single and double Tiger Claw, I-shaped khufu fist, arhat money dart, four elephants dragon stick, Yao family rake and so on. Because of its excellent tiger situation, it enjoys the nickname of "Tiger Crazy" in Wulin. Besides, Huang Feihong is also good at lion dancing, and is known as the lion king in Guangzhou.
1In August, 924, Chen Lianbo, general manager of Guangzhou Commercial Group, with the support of British imperialism, took advantage of Sun Yat-sen's Northern Expedition to launch an armed riot and set fire to plunder in Guangzhou. And his second wife worked hard for decades, together with the plaque written by Liu Yongfu and his only photo, were also destroyed in the war. Huang Feihong couldn't bear the heavy blow, so he became depressed and became ill. He died last winter at the age of 77. Behind Huang Feihong is depression and poverty. Fortunately, disciple Deng Xiuqiong took care of the funeral and was buried at the foot of Baiyun Mountain. With the help of Lin Shirong and Deng Xiuqiong, two sons of Mo Guilan and Huang Feihong moved to Hongkong and set up a museum to teach Huang Feihong's heritage. 1983 died in Hong Kong.
In film and television works, we often see Huang Feihong, Fang Shiyu, Hong Xiguan, Liang Kun (Tieqiao III) and so on. Even joked about a "Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Guangdong", mixing martial arts figures of all ages ... But in the historical and social sense, what about those joking figures and real people in history?
First, take Huang Feihong as an example. Born in the late Qing Dynasty, died in 1925. After his death, he had little money to bury. He was unknown before his death and became famous after his death, all because of the spread of a large number of Hong Kong drama themes, which did not represent what an outstanding figure Huang Feihong himself was. Of course, it cannot be denied that he is outstanding as a martial artist, but from a historical and social point of view, he does not exist as a person who has made much contribution to society and the public, so he cannot be said to be "outstanding".
Others, such as Fang Shiyu and Liang Kun, even exist in fictional novels. There are no people who recorded them in detail in real history, and nothing really meaningful has passed down to today, so they can't be "outstanding people". We only know from some records that Fang Shiyu was a Zhaoqing native during the Qianlong period. Together with Xinhui people Hu and hua county people, they worshipped Shaolin Zen Master as a teacher, engaged in the cause of anti-Qing and restoring sight, and were later killed by the court. Hong Xiguan narrowly escaped death and spent the rest of his life in a temple in Guangzhou.
