Silent Master: How to make the effect of chanting Buddha more remarkable?

These are some of the lessons I learned from Master. Before talking about this topic, I want to read a poem from Hua Yan Shu with you: "If people want to know, all Buddhas in the Three Realms should observe the nature of Buddhism and create everything with their hearts." Why did you watch this song in Mengshan this afternoon? This poem has incredible power and contains incredible wisdom. It describes the truth of life in the universe. Please recite this song when we climb Mengshan. One is for us to think about, and the other is for all beings in the underworld. If all sentient beings understand this sentence, they will be relieved. Many people who are new to Buddhism still don't know what this song means, so let's discuss it with you here. The first sentence: "If people want to know, then the three buddhas." In other words, if we want to know how the Buddhas of the Third World became Buddhas, and by what means and strength they succeeded, the next sentence will say, "Observe the essence of Buddhism and create everything from the heart." Dharma circles, in the present language, are all things in the universe. This sentence tells us how everything in the universe came from. How did it come from? Everything is done with heart. It is all realized by our hearts, which is one of the greatest secrets of the universe. When we understand this sentence, we know how to live, how to create the beauty of life, and how to get the troubles of life. Is constantly created by our hearts. So I often say to some business people, "Everything in our hearts will come true sooner or later." In other words, if we want to know what will happen in our future life, we can sit down and think quietly about our inner world instead of going to a fortune teller. So this sentence can save us some money. Because this "Hua Yan Shu" is very important, and all beings in the underworld have no bodies, so as long as they understand it, they will be relieved. Once all our living beings with bodies understand it, we will become rich, so wisdom and blessing will grow rapidly. Just like an electric light, the switch lights up when it is turned on and turns black when it is turned off. Our heart is like a switch. As long as we understand it, the switch will turn on and people will live in the light. When we are confused, our hearts close and we live in darkness. So one of the most important things in life is to listen to the classics and smell the law. Listening to the classics is to find out where the switch is, and then turn it on, and life will be bright and beautiful. Now talk about: how to recite Buddha, the effect is better. The first is positioning. Positioning can also be called motivation, which is why we are here. For example, someone is in poor health. He heard that Nanshan Temple can cure diseases. I wonder if it is true. So he wants to try the seven buddhas. This is no positioning. In this way, the effect will be different. It may be effective, it may not be effective, and it may be a little effective. Why? Because his positioning is inaccurate and unclear. Master in-hwan showed us this. How should we locate it? Once a patient found me, and I said to him, "You've been studying Buddhism here, and you won't go back if you're sick." This is a positioning. Not to try, but to run whether it works or not. Because people have such orientation or will, the effect is different. Where is the principle? The principle is in Hua Yan Shu that we just recited. Without clear positioning, our mind and state will be different. "We should look at the essence of the legal world and create everything with our heart." The heart is different, so the result is different. The second aspect is daily life. When we come to the temple, we must abide by the regulations of the temple, regard the temple as our home, cherish everything here and care about everything here. For example, if you see garbage in some places, don't think, "This is someone else's business. I am here to recite Buddha, which has nothing to do with me. " In the temple, you can do whatever you can now and give as much as you can. I've seen it in other groups. They engage in activities, and every corner is clean, as if everyone is the owner there. But now we go to some Dojo to attend the Dharma, and we see that the believers who attend only care about themselves. This is a selfish idea, so our intentions are different and our effects are different. Buddhism tells us: "Three treasures are blessed and easy to repair." Why? Because the temple is a Dojo jointly owned by the ten dharma circles, there are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, protectors of dragon day, people and animals, and ghosts and gods, so what we have done here is particularly effective. The temple is like an amplifier. It can amplify good and evil. So if you do something bad in the temple, it will bring more trouble. Why? Because the impact is greater. So we should take the temple as our home to care for and care for it. The third aspect is writing memorial tablets. Master showed us that everyone should write three kinds of memorial tablets. One is red and the other is yellow. Red is about people who are alive now. Most people write down their relatives and benefactors, but they don't write down tablets for people they hate and people who hate themselves. This shows how narrow-minded we are. So at noon, you should think, "Who do I hate and who hates me?" You should write this memorial tablet to confess and bless them. Yellow cards mainly write about our late ancestors and relatives. What is this memorial tablet for? It's like building a receiving station for him here to receive the power of the Buddha. It is also to write invitations to these people in the past, and they can enter our Dharma meeting smoothly with the invitations. Another function is that our hearts still remember them, and we have not forgotten our roots or been ungrateful. So these are all different intentions and will produce different effects. In addition to writing yellow cards to the deceased and unjust relatives and creditors, we should also write memorial tablets to all beings who have been hurt, killed and eaten by us. In this way, we should apologize to them, repent to them, and pray for the strength of the Buddha to turn them over and have a good time. When they are free, they will not interfere with us, which means that we are free. So we resolve the barriers and grievances between people, which is liberation. Some people pursue liberation, but they are unwilling to resolve grievances and grievances with others. How can we liberate them? Writing a memorial tablet can write down all our shortcomings, troubles, disasters and demands. Including our illness, we can also write it down, as well as our personal grievances. For example, I once wrote that I felt that my relationship with someone was not very good and my communication was not smooth, so I wrote a memorial tablet that read: My past karma with someone. It means crossing our past karma with the power of Buddha. The fourth aspect is listening to instructions. I heard some fellow initiates say, "Sometimes I can't hear clearly and I don't know what I'm talking about." So what should we do? As long as we relax and concentrate. I can't hear you clearly, but we can feel and accept the speaker's energy, as long as we accept it quietly and relaxed. If we can understand, we should listen attentively and turn on the switch of our own hearts. How to open it? It is an idea that I said to myself, "I am willing to accept all the blessings, wisdom and energy brought by the speaker." Then relax and listen. Turn on this switch, it may work wonders. In fact, everyone has something invisible behind them. Behind those who do good, there is an invisible good god and invisible energy. People who do evil have invisible evil gods and invisible negative energy behind them. Those who read Buddhism have Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, protectors and intangible high energy behind them. So we can receive invisible energy by receiving words, as long as our minds move, it is "I am willing to receive." The fifth is chanting Buddha. How to recite Buddha? Master showed us "one thought and one reception" and "one thought and one life". Is to read a Buddha's name and receive everything hidden in this Buddha's name. In fact, "one thought and one reception" means "one thought and one life", because reception and Buddhism are integrated into a whole. Giving your life is also giving yourself to the Buddha and becoming a whole. /kloc-On the afternoon of 0/8, Master Silent revealed how to make the effect of chanting Buddha more remarkable. Secondly, we recite another poem. This poem is very popular in Buddhism, and it is also recorded in the Tripitaka, but it is not the original Buddhist scripture. This poem goes like this: "Nothing will go, only the industry will take you." This sentence is also very important, so you must remember it. This sentence tells us that there is nothing in life, only karma can follow us. Karma is divided into good karma and bad karma. If you do good, you will be rewarded; if you do evil, you will be rewarded. A person's life is determined by the karma of good and evil. We are relatively smooth now, which is caused by the good deeds accumulated in the past; We are in a bad situation now, and our troubles are caused by the bad karma we accumulated in the past. Practice is to eliminate bad karma and increase good karma, so that life will be better. Speaking of chanting Buddha in the morning, chanting Buddha is the most powerful method to eliminate karma and improve goodness. So chanting Buddha is very important in our life. Some people are not very effective in chanting Buddha, or they just don't know "one thought and one reception" and "one thought and one life". If you can lay down your life for the Buddha, your merits will be boundless. What is life? Is to give yourself as a gift to the Buddha. Because many events in life are beyond our control. Many people are developed, but they don't know how. Many people have suffered, and I don't know how to live. In other words, life is hard to control by yourself. Why can't you control yourself? Because as a mortal, our ability is very limited, so we have to give our lives to the Buddha. Buddha has great wisdom, Buddha has great power and Buddha has great compassion. Let the Buddha help us manage our lives, so that we can be safe and have hope. In other words, it's like we join a group or we get a job and enter a company. Our own survival and life depend on this company. So when we read Buddha, who are we reading Buddha for? Who are you handing over? Master enlightened us for two worlds, that is, to hand over the lives of two worlds, not just himself. What is the boundary between ghost and yang? Ghost Yang Can is also called Yin and Yang. Ghost refers to the invisible and intangible, while Yang refers to the visible and tangible. I went to see the patient in the morning and asked, "Do you know what is the boundary between Ming and Yang?" The patient answered me, "The underworld refers to our ancestors, and the Yang refers to our living people." Is this the right answer? Yes, but not exactly. The underworld includes our dead ancestors and relatives, invisible ghosts, and our own spiritual thoughts. The spirit is also invisible and intangible. In short, everything that is invisible and intangible belongs to the underworld. What is Yang realm? Of course, our family and friends, as well as our property and materials, are all in the Yang world. Including rats and cockroaches at home, all belong to the yang world. Our bodies, our diseases and what we see belong to the Yang world. Therefore, I think it is very wise and convenient for Master to refer to the "Ming and Yang Boundaries" as a whole, and everything in the world can be summarized in one sentence. When we read "The Ming and Yang Boundaries Do Their Fates", we should take out all the invisible things, all the visible and tangible things, and give them to the Buddha with our hearts. Therefore, this conversion and submission to life is not only for yourself, but also for giving all the ghost world and sun world destined for you to the Buddha. Why should we also give something related to us to the Buddha? Because things related to us are also seriously affecting us. For example, if you are sick or in trouble, Master gave us advice because there are three obstacles: one is called environmental obstacle, the other is called man-made obstacle, and the other is called evil obstacle. Then we will hand over these three obstacles together when we die. Let me add one more point here. Speaking of this living thing in the underworld, for example, when I didn't believe in Buddhism before, I hurt many small animals. They have also become living creatures in the underworld, and may still suffer from the three evils. Because I hurt it, I have established this bad relationship with them. It will interfere with my life in a tangible and intangible way, making me sick, irritable and unhappy. Therefore, we should also take all sentient beings we have hurt, eaten and killed to the Buddha, and let the Buddha take them to the Elysium. They have fun in pain, and we have fun in pain. Sixth, worship Buddha. When we read Buddhism, we will pronounce the word "Nanwu". Many people don't know what "Nanwu" means. "Nanwu" is very similar to worshipping Buddha. Worship only adds to the body, and "Nanwu" worships the mouth. What is the meaning of "Nanwu"? The first level means repentance, the second level means prostration, the third level means acceptance, the fourth level means gratitude, and the fifth level means conversion. "Nanwu" is an ancient Indian language, why not translate it into Chinese? Because it has too many meanings, there is only one meaning left after translation. So when we read Amitabha in the South, all these aspects were summed up. The sixth meaning of "Nanwu" is: Help! So when we meet an emergency, we say "there is no Amitabha in the south", which can be translated as "Amitabha, help me." We also read "there is no Amitabha in the south" when we get benefits. How to translate it? Amitabha, thank you. Buddha worship is also so fun. When we worship, the first level means confessing to Buddha, the second level means bowing to Buddha, the third level means being willing to accept Buddha's teaching and blessing, the fourth level means being grateful for Buddha's light, the fifth level means converting to life, and the sixth level means saving me. Every day, during sacrifices and evening classes, Arihoshi will teach Buddhism. What does he do? What is his role? He is the man who leads us to the bright world. Therefore, when we worship Buddha, we should also lead our spiritual world, not just for ourselves. I have seen the deeds of a famous living Buddha in Jinshan in modern times. Once, people turned over dead people in the mouth of the flame, and the living Buddha passed by, which had nothing to do with him, so he rushed in to worship. Later, someone asked him, "Living Buddha, what are you worshipping there?" The living Buddha replied, "Don't you see many people behind me praying together?" I took them to worship Buddha. Because they worship Buddha, they can be freed. "Here, by the way, introduce you to the living Buddha of Jinshan. Many of us are used to the word "living Buddha". However, Jinshan Living Buddha belongs to the period of the Republic of China. Is really the greatest living Buddha, is really worthy of being called the living Buddha. Why? He doesn't accept support from others. Not only does he not accept it, but he will eat it as long as you give him money and red envelopes. He doesn't have to clean the toilet paper, melon seeds and peanut shells on the ground. Catch them and eat them. He can skip meals every day or eat a dozen bowls at a time, but his stomach won't swell. His bath water can also cure diseases. Since someone discovered that his bath water can cure diseases, the living Buddha has often been forced to take a bath, and believers just want to get bath water. So this is really a monk. Worshiping Buddha requires eyes to see Buddha and mind to think of Buddha. Not thinking about Buddha in your heart and not looking at Buddha in your eyes is equivalent to doing push-ups and doing physical exercise. So why don't some people get inspired to recite Buddha and worship Buddha? No heart. We have recited Hua: "We should observe the essence of the legal world and keep everything in mind. "With the heart, there will be profit, so chanting and worshipping Buddha must be sincere and sincere. This sincerity is a heart, and this sincerity will bring us a benefit. Now let's sum up, the methods of worshipping Buddha can be divided into five aspects. First, keep your eyes on the Buddha; Second, you should have a Buddha in your heart; Third, mumbling to read Buddha, only one person reads it; Fourth, the body should worship Buddha; Fifth, we should worship with Ming and Yang.
