Once, Emperor Qianlong went to Tanzhe Temple to burn incense and passed by. The chicken doesn't crow, and the dog doesn't crow. Emperor Qianlong felt very strange and asked the people accompanying him, "What's the name of this village? Why can't I see a chicken barking and a dog not barking? It is really interesting. " After inquiring, the entourage reported to Gan Long: "There is no village name here." So Emperor Qianlong wrote the word "Taiping Zhuang" here. The villagers put the "Taiping Zhuang" given by the emperor at the gate of the village, which has been preserved to this day. The village name on the map published in the 1960s is still "Taiping Zhuang".
