What do you mean, too old to be punished?

Tai sui is an important concept in China traditional culture, which refers to the symbol of "year" corresponding to the twelve earthly branches, which belong to each year and the same year respectively. In the traditional culture of China, people usually think that everyone's fate and fortune are closely related to their age. Therefore, whenever "Tai Sui turns", people will make corresponding sacrifices and carefully guard at home in order to protect and shelter Tai Sui.

Among the twelve Tai sui, there are two special Tai sui, namely "Punishment Tai sui" and "Ke Tai sui". Penalty Tai Sui refers to the year when the earthly branch is four years away from the birth year. Because it is four years away from the core monument of life, it is called the punishment of Tai Sui. Punishment is considered to be something that leads to physical discomfort, disaster and unhappiness because of being too old, so people will be more cautious in their later years to reduce its adverse effects.

Corresponding to the traditional punishment is "Ke Tai Sui", which refers to the local branch that differs from the year of birth by six every year. Ke Tai-sui is considered to be a relatively strong Tai-sui, who can restrain and defeat Tai-sui in the animal year. Therefore, when people protect Ke Tai-sui, they usually make corresponding sacrifices and appropriate protection to seek the blessing and restraint of Tai-sui. Tai sui, belonging to different years, has a great influence on everyone's fate and fortune, so it is still widely valued and followed in the traditional culture of China.
