Patients, illness and articles are handed over between the responsible nurse and the nurses in the morning shift, small night shift and big night shift, which is mainly suitable for wards with little change in the number of patients and illness and less workload in the night shift.

Double 3-shift system: two nurses are arranged in each shift, and the daily shift is properly arranged. Responsible nurses hand over patients, conditions and articles between morning shift and night shift, which is mainly suitable for wards with many critically ill patients, heavy nursing workload and strong professionalism (such as cardiovascular medicine, neurology and brain surgery).
