The film "Shadow" was shot in Huairou China Film Base and Zaoyang Seoul Film and Television Base.

On March 8, 2065438+07/KLOC-0, Shadow was officially launched at China Film Base in Huairou, Beijing. In May, the crew went to Xiangyang, Hubei Province to shoot at the Zaoyang Seoul Film and Television Base, which lasted for two months.

Zaoyang Seoul Film and Television Base is a whole village. As we know, the film Shadow is the style of ink painting, and the Zaoyang Seoul Film and Television Base is the lowest-key place in Seoul, South China, because the whole village has a gray-black ink tone, as shown in the film.

Zhang Yimou's coming to Xiangyang for filming is actually very particular. First of all, Xiangyang itself is a famous cultural city with a strong historical atmosphere, and it is also the birthplace of the culture of the Three Kingdoms. We know that although Shadow is an overhead history, its background is actually based on the Three Kingdoms, and the characters in the film can generally find corresponding characters in the history of the Three Kingdoms.

Moreover, the Seoul Film and Television Base is said to have been specially built by Zhang Yimou for the film Shadow. Prior to this, Chen Kaige built a city for The Legend of the Demon Cat, and after that, Zhang Yimou built Zaoyang Seoul Film and Television Base for Shadow. The core project of Zaoyang Seoul Film and Television Base covers an area of 1.800 mu, with a planned construction area of 800,000 square meters. It is a large-scale retro architectural complex integrating the essence of Han Dynasty architecture and classical garden landscape.
