Rickrolling refers to a prank: give someone a link or a video, but the last content is Richard Ashley's Never Give Up on You, which is a gorgeous song written by Richard Ashley at 1987.

This stalk first appeared in May 2007. On 4chan's video game version, a link claiming to be the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto 4 points to the MV of never gonna give you up.
