Where is the Yaoluoping?

Yaoluoping Nature Reserve is located in the west of Anhui Province, bordering Huoshan County in Anhui Province in the north and yingshan county in Hubei Province in the west. Its geographical position is 30 57' ~ 365 438+0 06' north latitude and 65 438+065 438+06 02' ~ 65 438+065 438+06 east longitude. The total area of this area is 123 square kilometers, covering the whole territory of Jiabao Town, Yuexi County, Anhui Province.

Historical evolution:

Yaoluoping Nature Reserve (Jiabao Township) is a hidden county in ancient times. Before Yuexi County was established (before 25 years of the Republic of China 1936), it belonged to Shisanbao, Nanshan Township, Huoshan County, Lu 'an District. After the establishment of the county, it belongs to the third district of Yuexi County. It used to be the headquarters of the Red 28 th Army, the Special Committee of West Anhui and the Special Committee of Anhui and Hubei, and the base camp during the three-year guerrilla war in Hubei, Henan and Anhui. In the history of China's liberation, there was a glorious page of "Hong Niao fell to the ground". After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), it was divided into Platform Township, Ishikawa Township, Heqing Township and Meili Township.

May 1956 merged to form Jiabao Township. 1April, 957, Meili Township broke away from Jiabao Township and became an independent Meili Township. These two townships were first under the jurisdiction of Meili District. In April 1963, the beautiful area was merged into Laibang District. 1March, 1992, the district was withdrawn and merged into a township, and Jiabao Meili was merged into a township, named Jiabao Township and located in Baiguo Formation of Jiabao Village. 199 1 year1October 29th, Anhui Provincial People's Government approved the establishment of Yaoluoping Nature Reserve in Anhui Province, which is a provincial nature reserve. 1April 5, 1994 was approved as a national nature reserve by the State Council letter [1994] No.26, which was under the centralized management of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
