What is the significance of worshipping Buddha?

What do the representatives of the Four Bodhisattvas bless?

First, the bodhisattva's scriptures: filial piety

The Tibetan Bodhisattva shows filial piety to the teacher, so a Tibetan sutra is the Buddhist Sutra of Filial Piety, and we learn from this place. No matter which Sect or practice, it all starts with filial piety to teachers. Then expand the filial piety to teachers and all sentient beings. This is to worship bodhisattva.

Second, Guanyin Bodhisattva: Great Mercy and Great Compassion

Guanyin Bodhisattva expresses great compassion. Kindness is to make others happy, and sadness is to help others get rid of troubles and pains. Compassion for all, compassion for all, and saving all sentient beings are great compassion. To worship the Bodhisattva is to follow the example of the Bodhisattva, learn from the sage Si Qi, cultivate one's compassion, and benefit others and society. Because, to harm others is to harm yourself, to help others is to help yourself, to benefit others is naturally self-interested, and to love others is to love yourself.

Three. Manjushri: Wisdom and Skills

Manjusri Bodhisattva represents great wisdom, complete wisdom, and is absolutely not confused or emotional. Buddhism often says: "compassion is the foundation and convenience is the door"; But he also said that "compassion is harmful and easy to get dirty", which seems contradictory in comparison! In fact, it makes sense, because compassion and convenience should be based on reason and wisdom, and we should not be emotional or coquetry. Emotional, reckless, that is evil. If it is based on wisdom, compassion and convenience, it can be just right, skilled and altruistic, which is a real advantage. Therefore, to worship Bodhisattva is to learn to develop one's wisdom, communicate with others, be skillful, convenient and appropriate.

4. Samantabhadra: Application and Practice

Bodhisattva Samantabhadra represents practice and applies and practices filial piety, compassion and wisdom in daily life. We can apply and implement filial piety, sadness and wisdom when dressing, eating, studying and working, and treating people. This is Pu Xian. To worship Bodhisattva is to learn the unity of knowing and doing and solve corresponding problems.
