The geographical prototype in Border Town is Hong 'an, a border town in the southeast of Chongqing, and it is also a flower planting place that spans three provinces.

In Hong 'an Ancient Wharf, three Chinese characters "Du Lala" are engraved on a grotesque stone, and a cable is pulled to the other side. An old ferry maintained it for many years. Needless to say, this is the famous Du Lala in Hong 'an ancient town.

In the old society, due to the inconvenient land transportation, water transportation became an important means of transportation. Du Lala is one of them. Even in today's extremely convenient land transportation, Du Lala is still the most frequently used means of transportation between Chongqing Hong 'an and Hunan Border Town, whether visiting relatives and friends or trading.

At Lala Ferry today, there are still ferrymen.
