Brief introduction of Qiaodun Town

Qiaodun Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. This is an ancient town with a history of thousands of years. It was called Songshan Mountain in ancient times. It was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was called the pier only in the Tongzhi period. Located at the south gate of Zhejiang, at the junction of Zhejiang and Fujian provinces and counties, it is the political, economic and cultural center in the west of Cangnan County. It is both an old revolutionary base area and a poor mountainous area, with a total area of 179.9 square kilometers. It is the most extensive central town in the county, including wharf, Yulong, Juxi (patio), Wufeng, Dalong, Huangtan, Tengyang and bowl kiln. The town governs 64 administrative villages and 6 residential areas, with a total registered population of 8255 1. Qiaodun Town is strategically located, connecting Zhejiang and Fujian provinces and Cangfutai County, and it is a window for Zhejiang and Fujian to communicate. The transportation is convenient. National Highway 104, Wenfu Expressway and Wenfu Railway pass through the territory, and the wharf can be reached from the exit of Guanmei Expressway along the westbound National Highway 104 for 5 kilometers.
