Fuxin Education Bureau is the government department in charge of education in Fuxin.

Fuxin Education Bureau implements the principles, policies and decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee on education, and adheres to and strengthens the centralized and unified leadership of the Party on education in the process of performing its duties. The main responsibilities are: to implement the national and provincial education reform and development plans and related laws and regulations, and to formulate the city's education reform and development plans. Responsible for deepening the comprehensive reform in the field of education and the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education in the city, guiding the education and teaching reform of all kinds of schools at all levels, being responsible for the management of municipal schools, reviewing the establishment and adjustment of colleges (higher vocational colleges) in conjunction with relevant departments, and being responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information in the city.

Responsible for the management of teachers in the city, overall planning and guiding the construction of talent team in the education system, and organizing the implementation of teacher qualification standards at all levels. Responsible for the management of the department's education funds, supervise the raising and use of the city's education funds, manage education aid and education loans to Fuxin inside and outside the city according to relevant regulations, and participate in the formulation of education fund raising, management and infrastructure investment policies. Responsible for coordinating the balanced allocation of urban and rural compulsory education resources in the city, coordinating the management of basic education, preschool education, ordinary high school education and special education, implementing school standardization construction, vigorously promoting education equity, improving the financial aid system for students with financial difficulties in families, and fully implementing quality education.
