What do you mean, "I have a pearl, which has been dusty for a long time, and now it is dusty and full of light, which has broken Qian Shan's thousands of waters"?

It means that everyone has a pearl of their own, which is a clear understanding of themselves, but most people have been unable to realize this for a long time, drifting with the tide and losing themselves; Until suddenly one day, this person realized this pearl on his body, just like seeing the sun through the clouds, and he was suddenly enlightened.

From Song Chai's Enlightenment Poem.

Full text: I have a pearl, which has been locked by dust and labor for a long time; At present, the dust is full and the Qian Shan River is broken.

"Pearl" symbolizes everyone's innate bright Buddha nature, and represents that we all have room for growth to get rid of our troubles and live freely.

To put it another way, all sentient beings have the instinct to seek happiness and avoid suffering, which indicates the possibility of getting rid of troubles and pursuing eternal happiness. However, all sentient beings often get happiness in the wrong way, fail to understand the impermanence of bitterness and joy in the world, and thus become more greedy and unable to let go.

In fact, true happiness always comes from inner peace after getting rid of greed and ignorance, and pure and bright Buddha nature is the source of our freedom. Although this pearl is temporarily shrouded in all kinds of troubles and dust, it does not diminish its round and flawless nature, just waiting for the "dust to shine" and break thousands of mountains and rivers!

Extended data:

This is a poem written by Zen master Yu of Chailing who realized the way of wrestling. The Zen master's Zen style is very lively, but his disciple, Zen master Bai Yun Shou Duan, is dull in his studies and often recites the above poems, but he has never understood the Zen meaning. Later, because of an opportunity, master Baiyun followed Yang Qifang to learn Taoism, but he still couldn't be enlightened.

One day, Zen master Fang Hui asked Zen master Baiyun,' It is said that your master realized Tao during wrestling and wrote a poem. "Do you remember?" Jackson Baiyun quickly read the poem to him, and then he laughed and walked away without saying a word. This smile made the doubts of the Baiyun Buddhist monk laugh. The next day, I asked Fang Hui Buddhist monk, was he wrong?

The Zen master replied, "Have you ever seen a clown play tricks in front of a temple?" They make all kinds of bluff actions just to make people laugh. The louder the audience laughs, the happier they are. How come? I just laughed at you gently and couldn't let go. Isn't it worse than those clowns? Baiyun Zen master woke up like a dream, so he put down his long-standing persistence and became enlightened. ?

This song says that learning Buddhism should be open, lively and not too boring. If it is too dull, it will lose the mysterious Zen of the universe. Zen is lively and splashing, raising eyebrows and blinking are all Zen scenery, and you can respond to Zen with a smart heart.

The truth of this poem is not to be influenced by the outside world. The east wind blows west and the west wind blows east. We should grasp our own position and recognize our own value. The gain and loss of fame in the world can't affect us. He will scold us with a smile, just like a pearl that removes dust and illuminates Wan Li. In this turbulent era, we should be able to calm ourselves down and consolidate ourselves. This is the way to save ourselves.
