It may be the problem of installing the first person MOD. WIN7 may not be compatible with MOD. I won too. I have not installed any MOD, and there has never been such a thing as "GTA4 shutdown". My configuration is lower than yours. Core i7 2600 and GT430 are both tall, which is normal!
