Three most famous Taoist temples in Qingcheng Mountain

The three most famous avenues in this mountain are Shi Tian Taoist Temple, Nanyue Hengshan Taoist Temple and Quanzhen Taoist Temple.

1, Shi Tian Taoist Temple: Shi Tian Taoist Temple is located in the southwest of Qingcheng Mountain. Built in the Eastern Han Dynasty, it has a history of 1900 years. In China Taoism, Shi Tian Taoist Temple has a high status and is known as "the first fairyland in the Central Plains".

2. Nanyue Hengshan Taoist Temple: Nanyue Hengshan Taoist Temple was founded in the late Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. Located in the northeast of Qingcheng Mountain, at Sanchakou, it has long been regarded as a gathering place of magic and Taoism because of the dangerous mountain situation.

3. Quanzhen Taoist Temple: It was founded in the Tang Dynasty with a history of 1300 years. It is the birthplace and main Taoist temple of Quanzhen Taoist School in China. Quanzhen Taoist Temple is located in Qingcheng Shanxi. The temple has unique architecture, including Wudao Palace, Qunxian Hall and Sanjiao Hall.
