Dandong is a prefecture-level city in Liaoning Province. Dandong is the starting point of the northern end of China's coastline, located in the center of Northeast Asia, and is an important intersection of Northeast Asia economic circle, Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea economic circle. The maximum horizontal distance from east to west in Dandong area is 196 km, the maximum vertical distance from north to south is 160 km, and the administrative division area is 15200 square kilometers.
