Xiangshan is near Beilun District, Ningbo.

Xiangshan is located in the middle of the eastern coast of Zhejiang Province, southeast of Ningbo, between Xiangshan Port and Sanmen Bay. Its geographical location is near Xiangshan Port in the north, facing Yinzhou District and Fenghua District across the harbor. The northeast is far away from Liuheng Island in Putuo District of Zhoushan City and Meishan Island in Beilun District of Ningbo City. The east is close to the ocean; South of Maotouyang, across Sanmen Bay and across from Sanmen County, Taizhou City; Ninghai County in the west, Xiangshan Peninsula extends into the sea from Zixi and Meilin in Ninghai County to Yicheng in the east.

Xiangshan County is a county under the jurisdiction of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides and the two ports embrace each other. In the second year of Tang Shenlong (AD 706), Jian County was established. Because there are mountains in the northwest of the county, it is named Xiangshan.
