Who is the general who lost his soul and white horse?

"Taizhou Records of the Republic of China" reads: "Baima Temple is in Baima Township, southeast of Taizhou, the hometown of Jiang." Jiang of the Eastern Han Dynasty was born in the countryside beside the Jiangjiahe River in the southeast of Taizhou. He is a young man with lofty ideals, with both culture and skills. Later, he joined the army and made great achievements. He was an official until he became a county commandant in Moling (known as Nanjing in ancient times). After Jiang's death, his former subordinates saw him "riding a white horse, dressed in white, and his attendants were like life" on the road, thinking that he had become a god. People in my hometown built the "White Horse General Temple" to worship Jiang. According to "The Seal of the Old Capital", at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Jiang, the commander of Moling County, chased a thief and died of injuries. He was buried in Zhongshan with the seal of "General" (commonly known as General Baima among the people). In the north and south of the great river, the "White Horse General Temple" is widely built by the people to worship the statue of the White Horse General Jiang Shenhou. Every folk family has a memorial tablet of "General Bai Tuo" or "General Bai Ma", which is specially used to exorcise evil spirits.
