Six major temples in Guangdong

1, Shenguang Temple: Located in Shenguang Road, xingning city City, Guangdong Province, formerly known as Nanshan Shouqing Temple, it was built in Jiayou for three years in the Northern Song Dynasty. 1958, Shenguang Temple was completely destroyed, leaving only the foot of the wall, leaving only the big plaque and bronze incense burner that saved the people from the rain.

2. Tianchi Ancient Temple: Located in Huacheng Town, Wuhua County, Guangdong Province, the bustling place of King Zhao Tuo in southern Qin. It is located in Pingfengtai, the highest peak of the new bridge, and is named after the mountain spring. During the Cultural Revolution, the ancient temple was destroyed and there were only two houses.

Nanhua Temple: It is one of the six major temples in Guangdong. Nanhua Temple, also known as Baolin Temple, is a famous Buddhist temple at home and abroad, and is known as the crown of Lingnan Zen Forest. Nanhua Temple was built in the first year of Tian Jian, Liang Wudi in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. On June 25th, 20001year, Nanhua Temple, as an ancient building in Ming and Qing Dynasties, was approved by the State Council to be included in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

4. Guangxiao Temple: located at the northern end of Xiaoguang Road, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. According to the records of Guangxiao Temple, it was originally the former residence of Zhao Jiande, the king of South Vietnam. During the Three Kingdoms period, the danger of the State of Wu fell here, which was called Yu Garden in history. The name of this temple has been changed several times. The Eastern Jin Dynasty called Long 'an Wuyuan Temple, the Tang Dynasty called Gan Ming Huojue Temple, the Five Dynasties called Nanhan Ganheng Temple, the Northern Song Dynasty called manjuji, the Southern Song Dynasty called Guangxiao Temple, and Thanksgiving called Guangxiao Temple. Ming Xianzong Chenghua changed its name to Guangxiao Temple in the 18th year.

5. Guo 'en Temple: located in the territory of Integration Town, Xinxing County, Yunfu City, western Guangdong Province. It was built in the first year of Emperor Gaozong Hongdao in the Tang Dynasty (683). Together with Guangzhou Guangxiao Temple, Liuzu Dharma Dojo, Nanhua Temple, Caoxi, Qujiang and Lifelong Lecture Dojo, it is called Liuzu Sanzu Court.

6. yongfu temple: Located at the southern foot of Hutou Mountain, Longzhou Town, Raoping County, Guangdong Province, Master Wen Yi was founded in the Song Dynasty and is in the same strain as Haishan Long Fu Temple. The ups and downs of the past dynasties were impermanent, and they were used for other purposes during the Cultural Revolution.
