Xinjin Laojun Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain and the holy land of Quanzhen Dragon Sect, the mainstream Taoist Sect.

Xinjin Laojun Mountain, located in Xinjin County, Chengdu, is a famous Taoist mountain and a holy place of Quanzhen Dragon Sect, the mainstream Taoist Sect. It is the seat of Zhang Daoling, the ancestor of Shi Tian, the "Five Mi Dou Roads" and the fourth "Thick Japonica Governance". It is also a tourist attraction in western Sichuan, famous for its Taoist architecture and the grand Laojun Temple Fair.

Introduction of Xinjin Laojun Mountain

Laojun Mountain, located about 3 kilometers south of Xinjin County, also known as Tian She Mountain and Shangshan Mountain, is a holy place of Taoism in western Sichuan, and the fourth "Mi Dou Five Roads" in Zhang Daoling in Han Dynasty-"Shangshan" is here. It is said that this place is also the place where Lao Tzu lives in seclusion. Mountain is famous for its Taoist architecture and the grand temple fair of Laojun.

: Most of the buildings that tourists see here today were rebuilt later. The main buildings are Tianci Palace, Lingzu Building, Hunyuan Hall, Bagua Pavilion Sanqing Hall and Qizhen Hall. These halls and platforms are built on the mountain, surrounded by green, which makes people feel a quiet wind.

February 15 of the lunar calendar in 2008 is the birthday of Laozi (that is, Taishang Laojun) and an important festival in Taoism. Xinjin Laojunshan Taoist Temple Laojunshan Temple Fair is the largest Laojunshan Temple Fair in Sichuan. On this day, the whole mountain is full of tourists who come to pray, and people are buzzing everywhere.
