Unfortunately, I forgot that although they can't kill me, they can torture me slowly, or they can bring a monkey from Huaguoshan one day and kill it slowly in front of me.

I gave in. I couldn't hear the little monkeys crying in front of me, begging the king to save them again and again. So he went out of the mountain and followed the monk to the Western Heaven for Buddhist scriptures.

Do I want revenge? Of course I know. When the moon and stars are few, my mind is full of monkeys and grandchildren who died tragically. It's all blood. Ask me why I didn't save it. I'll get revenge, I told myself.

But I didn't take revenge after all. God sent many immortals to experience me. Eighty-one is difficult. Every monster I kill is of the same kind as me. My monkey's face is covered with the blood of my companion. I can't go back. Ever since I killed the first monster with a big stick, I can't go back. I'm not the Monkey King anymore, the Monkey King, I know.

I compromised. The world said I was wrong, so I was wrong.
