What are the halls of Taoism?

The names of Taoist temples include palaces, temples, temples and Taoist temples. Those called "Gong" are Taoist temples with special status. The main halls of Taoist temple are Shanmen Hall, Lingguan Hall, Sanqing Hall, Huangyu Hall and Sanguan Hall.

(1) Shanmen Temple

Generally, dragon gods and white tiger gods are worshipped, which is equivalent to the second Wang Zun of Buddhist temples. Some Taoist temples and mountain gates are halls of spiritual officials.

(2) Lingguan Hall

It is equivalent to the Heavenly King Hall of Buddhism. Dedicated to Wang Lingguan.

(3) Sanqing Hall

It is equivalent to the auditorium of Buddhism. Dedicated to Sanqing, the highest Taoist god.

(4) Jade Emperor Hall

For the Jade Emperor, some are dedicated to the Four Emperors.

(5) Sanguan Hall

Sacrifice to celestial officials, local officials and water officials.
