Oracle Bone Inscriptions did not record the Xia Dynasty, but the Zhou Dynasty knew it. Why?

In my opinion, this is probably because the Zhou Dynasty recorded the history of the Xia Dynasty. As for why I say this, there are several reasons.

First of all, why are there no records related to the Xia Dynasty in Oracle Bone Inscriptions? In my opinion, this is probably caused by the turmoil in the early Shang Dynasty. The turmoil in the early Shang Dynasty continued until Pan Geng moved the capital to Yin, and the historical materials that recorded the history of Xia Dynasty were probably lost in this process. Another reason is because of the particularity of Oracle bone inscriptions, which were written by Shang people to predict bad luck, rather than record history, so it makes sense that Oracle bone inscriptions did not record the history of Xia Dynasty. Of course, there is no accurate conclusion about the specific reason.

Let's talk about why I think the Zhou Dynasty recorded the Xia Dynasty by itself. First of all, the Zhou tribe, the predecessor of the Zhou Dynasty, existed for a very long time. As early as the early Shang dynasty, there were records about Zhou, when Zhou was already a big part. Therefore, in this big tribe, there are bound to be historians who record the history of the tribe, and it is very likely that relevant materials recording the history of the Xia Dynasty will be preserved.

Let's talk about the third point. After overthrowing the rule of Shang Dynasty, Zhou's prestige was extremely high, which can be called Ban. No vassal dared to resist Zhou's rule. This prestige existed before his death, so Zhou did not need to rely on satirical examples to maintain his rule, nor did he have the motive to build a fake dynasty.
