Fake. Throwing a water bowl is a superstition, and there is a folk magic called throwing a water bowl. There is a kind of person in the midwest of China called "flower-watching girl". They claim to predict good or bad luck by looking at the water bowl, but they are all false. There is no scientific basis for advocating science against superstition now.
