Why do crosstalk performers wear clear robes instead of Hanfu?

There are more than one kind of robes, which can be divided into Qing Dynasty robes and Republic of China robes. The dresses worn by crosstalk performers are all Republic dresses. I've never seen anyone cross talk in a clear robe. Although the two are similar, it is not difficult to find the differences by careful observation. As far as my knowledge of dresses is limited, I find these differences: 1. The gowns of the Republic of China are all stand-up collars, and the gowns of the Qing Dynasty are round necks. 2. The gowns of the Republic of China pay attention to simplicity, and the colors are generally monochrome, mainly blue, gray and cyan, and there will be no decorative colors and patterns, while the gowns of the Qing Dynasty are the opposite. 3. The gowns in Qing Dynasty had horseshoe sleeves, but not in the Republic of China.
