Yu Qian (1398.0513 ─1457.0216), a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang Province (now Hangzhou and Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province), was a famous minister of the Ming Dynasty and a national hero. Together with Yue Fei and Zhang Cang Water, they are also called "Three Masters of West Lake". In the early years of Xuande (1426), Yu Qian was appointed as the censor. Xuande was promoted to the right assistant minister of the Ministry of War in five years, and served as the governor of Shanxi and Henan, reorganizing armaments. Orthodox thirteen years (1448), served as the left assistant minister of the Ministry of War. In the autumn of the following year, the main force of Ming-Jing army was defeated in the battle of Civil Fort, Ming Yingzong was captured, and the Mongolian Vara army captured the capital (now Beijing). At this juncture, Yu Qian opposed the relocation of the capital, advocated the war of resistance, was promoted to the post of Minister of War, led the army to defeat the Walla army, and won the battle of defending Beijing. After the war, he initiated the regimental battalion system, strengthened border defense and appointed famous guards. He advocated promoting peace through war, repelled the attacks of the Walla army many times, and forced its leader to release Yingzong back to the DPRK. In the eighth year of Jingtai (1457), in the middle of the first month, Yingzong seized the door and regained the throne. On the 22nd, Yu Qian was framed and killed. Handkerchiefs, mushrooms and thread incense are harmful to people.

The wind blows on the sleeves, so as not to talk short!

This is how the idiom "remain uncorrupted" comes from. Yan Lu means alley, which means to avoid being gossiped. After this poem was written, it was read far and near and became a much-told story for a while. Yu Qian's rudeness naturally caused the eunuch Wang Zhen's extreme dissatisfaction.
