Where is Tunxi in Huangshan Mountain?

Tunxi District is a municipal district of Huangshan City, Anhui Province, which is located in the south of Anhui Province. It is located in Xiutun Basin between Baiji Dolphin-Tianmu Mountain and Huangshan Mountain, where Hengjiang River, Green Water and Xin 'anjiang River meet. The northeast and southeast are adjacent to Huizhou District and Shexian County respectively, and the rest are adjacent to Xiuning County.

Tunxi is named after the name of water. The word "Tun" is interpreted as "Juye" according to elegance, and various streams converge, which is called Tunxi. Tunxi has a long history. Yugong designated China as Kyushu, and Tunxi belongs to the south of Yangzhou. During the Qin and Han dynasties, they were all located in the west. In the 13th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 208), Liyang County was established, belonging to Xindu County. In the third year of Chen Tianjia (AD 562), Liyang County was revoked and merged into Haining County (now Xiuning), and it has been the territory of Xiuning County ever since. Tunxi Municipal People's Government was established in May of 1949 and belongs to Huizhou District.
