Guhe Town is located 40 kilometers southwest of Quanjiao County, at the junction of Quanjiao, Hanshan, Chaohu and Feidong counties (cities), with Chu River in the south, Hening Expressway and Ningxi Railway in the north, and 33 1 provincial highway passing through the town.

Split evolution

Guhe Town was founded in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, and it was the seat of seven county commissions in eastern Anhui during the Anti-Japanese War. 1984 was approved as a standard town by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

1May, 988, the district was merged with the town, and the town replaced the district, which governed seven towns, namely Caiji, Xishi, Ji Huang, Dashu, Xinxing and Zhang Hui. 1992 was withdrawn from the district and merged into the town in May, and Guhe Town governed Dushan Village, Xishi, Caiji and Huangji Township, which was 1993 and returned to the hometown.

The soil is horse liver soil, yellow cinnamon soil and common yellow brown soil developed from Xiashu loess, which is neutral and acidic with PH value of 6.0~6.5.

Dushan in Guhe Town is rich in natural resources and has high-quality granite ore bodies with a reserve of 6.25 million cubic meters.
