Introduction to the architectural pattern of Tianxin Pavilion;

The main building of Tianxin Pavilion was originally a one-story building, which was raised to two floors during the reign of Qing Qianlong, as evidenced by Li's Rebuilding Tianxin Pavilion, the general reader of Sikuquanshu in the forty-second year of Qing Qianlong (1744). 1852, after the Taiping Army attacked Changsha, the city wall was rebuilt and the original two floors were expanded to three floors. The attic consists of a main pavilion and two sub-pavilions. The main pavilion is 65,438+04.6 meters high, and the auxiliary pavilion is 65,438+00 meters high, which is connected by a veranda in the middle. It looks like a rolling mountain, strewn at random and magnificent.

Its structure adopts cantilever beam instead of bucket arch. The three-story pavilion is supported by forty-six red painted columns, with a combination of corridors and columns, a chestnut tile powder wall and a solid limestone foundation. Sixty-two stone lions have their own postures, and thirty-two faucets hold up their wings and look up at the blue sky. Thirty-two wind horses, bronze bells ringing in the wind, and giant kissing dragons leading the way. Stone wall patterns are totems, hunting and horses and chariots worshipped by the ancients. The whole building is dignified and vigorous in tone and simple in style, which belongs to the typical southern garden architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
