What do you mean, Jigong?

One night, Wang dreamed of a statue of Lohan and gave him a colorful lotus flower. The king took the lotus and swallowed it, and soon became pregnant.

In the third year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 133), a son was born on the second day of February, and the couple were very happy. On the full moon night, people held a grand banquet. At that time, a monk was free to congratulate them and named him "Xiu Yuan". Legend has it that his mission to the world was because of the Dapeng bird in front of the Buddha, but because he broke the dogma and fled to the world privately, he ordered Lohan (Jigong) to be reincarnated and look for the whereabouts of Dapeng bird. In the secular world, Jigong also experienced various difficulties. After many hardships, he finally completed his mission of coming to earth.

Although Jigong is a monk, he still drinks and eats meat. The so-called "wine and meat pass through the intestines, and the Buddha sits in his heart."

According to the feeling of compassion for the world, he is a living Buddha.

But from the monk's precepts, he can be described as a monk.
