Brief introduction of Luzhou Thanksgiving Tower

Luzhou Baoen Pagoda, commonly known as "White Pagoda", is a cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province, located in Luzhou City. Built in the 18th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 148), it was renovated three times in Ming Hongzhi, Qing Guangxu and 1985. The tower sits west to east, with masonry structure and seven pavilions with double eaves, with a total height of 33.2 meters. The tower is octagonal, and it is collected in layers. 107 steps spiral through the center of the tower to the top. There are 90 niches and 256 deep relief stone carvings in the tower. The tower foundation is octagonal with a side length of 4. 1 m. The ground floor is 4.5 meters, and a brick barrel arch is built under the eaves. This tower was built to help Lu Nan 'an and Feng Zhen repay their mother's kindness.
