Why did Emperor Kangxi go to the Ming Tombs many times to worship Zhu Yuanzhang, a tyrant of the Ming Dynasty?

Kangxi worshipped Zhu Yuanzhang for two reasons: first, to win over Han literati and show their extraordinary mind; Second, Kangxi believed that Zhu Yuanzhang made a contribution to history out of respect. This time, Emperor Kangxi wooed Jiangnan literati to a great extent, and the people of Nanjing were all grateful. Emperor Kangxi worshipped Confucius and Dayu in addition to the Ming Tombs. 1689, Emperor Kangxi came to Xiaoling again and rewarded Zhu Yuanzhang's grave keeper.

Emperor Kangxi, like his grandson Qianlong, loved the south of China. Kangxi visited southern China six times in his life, and visited the Ming Tombs every time, which means he swept Zhu Yuanzhang's tomb six times in his life. Kangxi praised Zhu Yuanzhang for "ruling the Tang and Song Dynasties", and the whole Ming Dynasty was more prosperous than the Tang and Song Dynasties. In addition to offering sacrifices, Emperor Kangxi also ordered people to renovate the Ming Tombs, which was highly praised by Nanjing civil and military officials and brothers. Kangxi went to the Ming Tombs several times, which can be said to alleviate the dissatisfaction of Han literati with the Qing regime. Kangxi brought the Manchu-Chinese relationship closer by himself, and at the same time showed his broad mind.

Kangxi visited Zhu Yuanzhang's grave for nothing. He wooed the Han literati by sweeping graves, which was for the sake of the Han people and the Manchu family. Of course, Kangxi himself worshipped Zhu Yuanzhang.
