Pucheng County, Weinan City: Stroll through the ancient buildings of Confucian Temple and visit Pucheng County Museum.

On Hongqi West Street, Pucheng County, Weinan City, there is a well-preserved Confucian Temple complex called Pucheng Confucian Temple. /kloc-0 opened to the public as Pucheng County Museum in June, 1996; 1On April 20th, 992, Pucheng Confucian Temple was announced by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government as the third batch of provincial cultural relics protection units-

On the morning of June 26th, 20021year, my friends and I went to Pucheng County to visit the museum here first. On October 25th, 2007/KLOC-0, I visited this museum when I first came to Pucheng County. In a blink of an eye, 14 years have passed, Pucheng County Museum has taken on a new look, and Pucheng Confucian Temple is more magnificent.

The ancient buildings of the Confucian Temple face south, and the main buildings are distributed along the central axis. There are six dragon walls in front of the temple, and the main entrance is Lingxing Gate. Liulongbi, also known as "Wan Ren Palace Wall", is a combination of shadow wall and stone archway. Lingxingmen was originally a wooden archway, and later it was changed to a palace style.

When I entered Lingxingmen, I entered the Confucian Temple and came to the Pucheng County Museum. Behind the newly-built Hepanqiao is Jimen, in front of which stands a Platycladus orientalis 1500 years old, which is the place where Jimen was listed in ancient times, also known as "Dachengmen". In the fourth year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (630), when the Confucius Temple was first built, the main hall was located here. In the seventh year of Zheng De in Ming Dynasty (15 12), it was transformed into Jimen because of "small regulations".

On the east and west sides of Jimen, there are Ming Guan Dian and Xiang Xian Dian to commemorate famous officials, gentry and celebrities in past dynasties. At present, Jimen and the buildings on both sides are being renovated and will become the tourist center and sales area of the museum.

Passing through the halberd gate, there is Dacheng Hall, in front of which grows a arborvitae in his 700 s.. This hall is located on a pedestal about 1 m high, with five rooms wide and three rooms deep. At present, there are statues of Confucius and four disciples in the temple, surrounded by various ancient plaques collected by the museum.

1976, Dacheng Hall was destroyed by fire, leaving only the pedestal. Later, on the pedestal, this brand-new Dacheng Hall was built. On the east and west sides in front of Dacheng Hall, there are long and narrow east covers and Xi covers, which were once dedicated to the statues of 72 disciples of Confucius. Today, this is the basic exhibition hall of Pucheng County Museum, which shows the history and culture of Pucheng County with the theme of "recalling the past with heavy springs".

Behind Dacheng Hall is Minglun Hall, which stands under Chongshou Temple Tower (Pucheng North Tower), with three rooms wide and four rafters deep. This used to be a place where scholars read and give lectures. Today, it has been transformed into Pucheng forest of steles, displaying more than 200 stone tablets. In front of the door is a Buddhist temple named Mu Jing Temple, which was built by Guo Lingshi and others in the fifth year of Tang Zhenyuan (789).

There are many wooden stakes for tying horses in front of Minglun Temple, and there are Zhang and Dian Kusi on the east and west sides respectively. There is a meadow behind Minglun Hall, which is the site of Zunjingge. In the Ming Dynasty, there were "Jing Yi Treasures" written by Emperor Jiajing and "Four Treasures" written by Cheng Zi. Before liberation, Zunjing Pavilion was destroyed.

Pucheng Confucian Temple was built in the fourth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (630), with a history of 1300 years. It is a place where the ancients worshipped the sage Confucius. During the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was repaired. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), at the initiative of Yang Hucheng, a public education museum was established here. After the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it became the seat of the county Council; After the founding of New China, important buildings here have been repaired one after another. At present, as the location of Pucheng County Museum, there are more than 2,300 cultural relics here.
