Why didn't Lu Jiuyuan go to Taizhou Chongdao Temple at the age of 37?

At the age of 37, at the invitation of Lv Zuqian, a neo-Confucian, Lu Jiuyuan and his fifth brother Lu Jiuling met with Zhu at the Ehu Temple in Xinzhou. Later, he was sent to Taizhou to worship Taoism. Because managing Taoism is only a leisure job, he went back to his hometown in Jiangxi to give lectures.
