How to raise goldfinches?

Goldfinch is also known as green finch, yellowbird, bird, silk finch, golden wing and so on. It is produced in a wide area of eastern China and 20 provinces including Jiangsu, Qinghai, Sichuan and Yunnan.

Goldfinch is as big as a sparrow, with nearly olive brown back feathers, golden yellow waist, black wing feathers, black tail, light yellow front abdomen and nearly white back abdomen. Male birds have yellow-green eyebrows and throats, while female birds have no obvious yellow-green, which is dark brown with dark longitudinal stripes on their upper bodies.

Goldfinches can be kept in small cages, such as yellowbird cages and hibiscus cages, or in a room with many other small songbirds. Goldfinches are omnivorous birds and also eat grains and insects. Provide millet every day at home, add rape appropriately, and provide some worms and cooked egg yolk every day.
