Wudaoying/imperial academy

Wudaoying Hutong is quite close to the Lama Temple (the highest Buddhist temple in China in the middle and late Qing Dynasty), starting from the elder sister of the Lama Temple in the east and reaching Andingmennei Street in the west. It is an east-west hutong.

Speaking of the famous hutongs in Beijing, you must have heard of Nanluoguxiang, which is similar to Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, Kuanzhai Lane in Chengdu and Tianzifang in Shanghai. It is very crowded. It's not worth going now. Wudaoying Hutong is a bit like Nanluoguxiang before it became popular, and the small shops on both sides of the Hutong still have some fresh literary energy.

Not much to say about coffee bars, each family has its own characteristics. Near Andingmen Inner Street, there is a Spanish paella "Saffron" which is not bad. If you really want to worship Buddha, buy a ticket to the Lama Temple.
